Dr. Charles S. Reing, M.D., F.A.A.O., is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained specialist in cornea, refractive surgery, and external eye disease. As Medical Director of Advanced Eye Care Center, he brings decades of leadership and expertise to providing advanced surgical and medical care for eye health.

Dr. Charles S. Reing, M.D., F.A.A.O., is the Medical Director of Advanced Eye Care Center. He graduated from Cornell University and NYU School of Medicine, completing his ophthalmology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He then specialized in Cornea, External Eye Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Board-certified and licensed in New Jersey, Dr. Reing leads the Ophthalmology division at St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital. He is also President of the Bergen Passaic Cataract and LASER Center and holds clinical privileges at multiple hospitals.
A dedicated academic, he has published scientific papers, lectured at national meetings, and contributed a book chapter to an ophthalmology textbook. He also trained ophthalmology residents at Mount Sinai Medical Center for many years.
